The inexhaustible source of national wisdom and creativity of our area, the reserve of national songs, dances and shepherd's melodies is a favorable condition for appearing of art collectives. One of them national folkloric-ethnographic ensemble "Uzhgorod" is the best one in area now. |

Created in 1985 at Transcarpathian historical museum as an instrumental ensemble, this collective enters in the repertoir solo and group singing, elements of a national choreography and traditional wedding dances. |

In repertoir of ensemble includes at least 40 different names. The folklore products were found during expeditions. It represents culture of local-ethnographic groups from Transcarpatha (lemki, boiki, guculi), and also the compositions of the peoples, which compactly live in this territory (Slovaks, Hungarians, Romanians). Concert programs of collective include ballads, koliady, wedding songs, household - playful, lyrical, kolomijki, which are executing as under support of the ensemble, and without one during dance. |

During performance the musicians reconstruct folklore products in that manner, which belongs to the given local-ethnographic group. They successfully use experience of the shepherd's tradition, follow performance of melodies. In repertoir there are solo performances by such musical instrumets as cimbala, drymba, duda, flute etc. |

It is the unique collective of Transcarpathia. In concert activity participants use unique traditional clothes and musical instruments acquired during expeditions around area. |
||
The spectators naturally take part in representing of folklore products and merge with theatrical show during concerts. |
||
They perceive such features of a local nature as the height of mountains, the breadth of blossoming alpine meadows, force of wind, noise of the fast river and one can feel the beauty of NATURE at this time. |
